Ázekânu** (ᴀᴋᴀ **Terra**), the [[species:human|human]] homeworld, is a terrestrial planet orbiting [[systems:azekaanu:start|Ázekânu]] (ᴀᴋᴀ “Sol”) at a distance of 149.6 Gm (92.9 million mi). It is about ⅓ again the radius and twice the mass of Daia, rotates every 86.4 ks (24 hours), and takes 456,6 Daian days to orbit Ázekânu. Terra has one moon: Luna, a large, gray moon that orbits Terra once every 29.5 local days. Terra is a tectonic planet; that is to say, its lithosphere is not a single, unbroken sphere like Daia's, but instead is comprised of separate plates. This means that earthquakes, volcanoes, etc. wrack the planet. This also means that its topography is far more severe than Daia's. To wit, hills and mountains far steeper than Daia's can be found on every continent, among which is Terra's highest peak, Qomolangma (29'031 ft; 8'849 m), one of the holiest sites in the human religion of Buddha Dharma. systems/azekaanu/terra/start.txt Last modified: 2024-03-16 22:48by halian
